So... I'm planning on building a computer in the next couple of months and so I've started putting together plans. I decided I wanted a large widescreen LCD with a native resolution of 1920x1200 to match up with my HD camcorder (I plan to edit HD video on the new computer).

I decided on a 24"+ monitor with a S-IPS or S-PVA (rather than TN) panel for best color reproduction and viewing angle. I was looking on Newegg tonight and saw a deal: a Samsung 275T+ (27" S-PVA 1920x1200 monitor with HDMI) for about half price ($580). It's an open box, but Newegg's pretty good about stuff so I'll run it through its paces before the return period expires.

Happy happy joy joy! Here's hoping it's in perfect shape. :snoopy:

New monitors always make you enjoy your computer more. Nice! I need a second so I can stop turning my head to watch tv. Enjoy! :wavey:
