    Noob checking in. :wavey:

Recently moved to GA from NY. The personal defense bug has bit and I am looking for my first .40. Going in for my CCW this week.

Any helpful advice for this eager noob?

Now that you're out of NY you can enjoy a little more of your Constitution.

Welcome aboard! Visit a range that rents a variety of guns and try them all. Go with the one that suits you best in terms of feel and accuracy. If you've already done this, do it again; there's nothing wrong with more "research".

    Thanks for the welcome.

Trying to find a range with rentals close-by on Thursday Friday. Hope to get some good 'research' under my belt there.

Welcome. I live in Newton county also. Your nearest indoor rental range would be Bullseye in Lawrenceville. It's right off the public square there.

I'll chime in here, and say hello. I've been trolling this site for a while and finally joined. I'm Jason and I live up in Floyd County.
