    Hey guys!
I am working on getting my CC License and in the process of finding a nice gun to bring along with me to almost wherever I go!

I am not new to shooting handguns, rifles, etc. But new to owning one on my own! This will be a gun for both my wife and I(newly weds) so I was looking into the 9mm range...I may be wrong and she may want a bigger caliber lol who knows!

Ok, I am very dead on trying out the Ruger SR9c or Glock 26 gen 4 atm. I have been watching hickok45 vids and just reading a lot about them.

But....I do need a back up plan if it turns out to not be the gun for US..

Which I am not sure if you guys have any knowledge on these but
my back ups were the MP 9 shield, SA xdm sub compact 9 or 40
and if the wife wants to try it out..i was leaning towards the Glock 30(.45 acp), 30s or 26.

I am checking out the communities on both forums and glocktalk seems to have major traffic which is a awesome thing for a forum!

Thanks for any help or info at all guys/gals!

    Have a awesome day!

Go with what feels most comfortable inthe hand and what you and your wife agree on,make it easy on yourself. Later on buy one for you.

Welcome, brother. And the M&P Shield is a fine gun for CC.
