Welcome! Where in SC are you?

If you're in the Columbia area I suggest checking out the Mid Carolina Rifle club for a good place to shoot outdoors, well, when they open registration back up that is!

Another hello and welcome! The Glock 23 is a great gun and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Now look into getting a 9mm conversion barrel and some 9mm mags for it so that you can afford to shoot it more.

Lol yea its nice to be able to walk out the back door and fire off a few rounds haha ( i do have a backstop im shootin into though). Usually if i go shoot outside, the neighbors (which are a good bit away b/c i live in the "sticks") will decide they want to shoot also and it ends up sounding like a warzone haha

The matches are held at Mid-Carolina Rifle Club (MCRC) off of Fish Hatchery Road. The link for the club is:

I don't shoot the matches, but it is a great group of folks and a great place to shoot.

    Welcome.

I'll admit, it's taken some getting used to, but I'm gradually settling in. Between work and not knowing the area ranges, though, I haven't really gotten to do any shooting. It shames me to admit that the whole winter might go by without me busting a single clay.
