Well I Finally got me a Glock 30SF, today, went to the range and only shot 50 rounds through it and it was flawless, Im more accurate with this than my G27 LOL, very happy with it and impressed, this will be my new carry gun... have a PJ Holster on order for it and hope it will be here next week some time... the test fire date on it was Feb 13, 2012 serial number SAA ###

Congratulations, it's good to read your first test at the range was everything you expected.

One thing I don't like about my G30SF 45ACP is that I have no more excuses for poor shooting.:crying:

If you have an interest in the future for some different mag configs for use at the range or home defense, I think you'll find some useful information in my post at

    http://glocktalk.com/forums/showpost.php?p=16588610&postcount=3

You may also find something of interest at the G30SF 45ACP link in my sig line below.

    Enjoy your new G30SF!

    Hmm, I like the 30SF.

Don't have one, but maybe someday.

Thanks everyone, yeah Ive been wanting to either get the .45 or the 10mm and ended up with the .45 LOL just a little cheaper in ammo, but Im very happy with it and how well it shoots, recoil is more of a push rather than the snap of my G27 and Gen4 G23, have some speer Gold Dots that will be here tomorrow for it...

    Congrats on your new 'baby'.
I have been thinking about a G30SF myself. You see, I have all this 45 ammo sitting around, and nothing to shoot it in.

Just Received 500 rounds of blazer .45 for my new G30SF which I picked up last Saturday. 13.99/box from palmetto state armory. And I love my new 30, definitely less recoil than my g23. Think I will b going with a THEISS holster.

thanks for the heads up on that ammo I placed a order for 5 boxes.... thanks everyone on the congrats, so far im loving it, I had also thought of waiting for the Gen4 model but thought with how far they are behind it might be a long time before it comes out, just gives me another reason to get the new Gen4 30 with my GSSF coupon....
