New game:what one?

    I'm not a big PC gamer,but I'm looking into downloading a decent game for my laptop. I prefer war/strategy games. Any suggestions of games or where to dl them?

    Almost any game is "available" for free...Depends on your moral outlook. I don't have any qualms about obtaining old/outdated games via FTP; I am currently playing Freespace 2 which is no longer in publication.

    I suppose you can look on these as Really Big Demos...
    No support, no manual (usually), etc.
    I would never consider using any online multiplayer game, as you're stealing (at least potentially) someone else's legitimately-obtained CD code. Nothing worse than buying a brand new game and trying to go online only to get a "CD code already in use" message.
