    Hi all,

Very new member here and thought I'd share a little gun porn. Just wanted to show off my latest sweetheart, a brand new Glock 21 Gen 4 in the FDE frame. I've been drooling over these FDE models since I first saw them online in April (guilty of being a complete sucker for most anything FDE). Ended up settling for and purchasing a standard, black G21 Gen 4 at that time, but sold it only a couple of months later for another purchase. I thought the FDE supply had been pretty much bought up, but heard another run was coming thanks to folks in this forum.

Anyway, was in my favorite local shop a couple of weeks ago and was surprised to see this baby in the case along with a few other FDE models. Well, I drooled over it and fondled for awhile, wandered around the shop for quite some time, much to the chagrin of my girlfriend and finally ended up walking out without the pistol :crying:. Couldn't convince myself to spend the money before I left for vacation later that week. Well, I got back out there a couple of days ago and she was still there, so there was no internal debate this time. Have her wearing Warren Tactical 2 Dot's and threw an OEM extended slide stop on there. Please forgive the poor picture quality from my cell phone and my goofy photographic skills.

Nice I have an OD 21 myself, love the looks of the FDE ones. Good ammo choice as well.

I really like the OD models as well and was seriously considering looking/waiting for one of those. I've owned an OD G19 and and G20 in the past.

Thanks, HST's are my preferred defensive round. I try to pick up a box or two whenever possible.

I think my next Glock will be a OD model. Kind of breaks it up. Factory is the only way to go, getting them painted may look good, but doesn't quite look right.

I like it a lot as well. I'm not sure that the poor picture quality really does the pistol justice. I have a sneaking suspicion another FDE model will make it in the stable.

Definitely made it to the shop alone this time! Much easier to make a decision and peruse through all of the goodies without that pair of eyes burning a hole through me.

Agreed, some of the Cerakote and other finishes I have seen appear to be well executed and will probably last for some time, but my preference would be the factory colored polymer.

Congrats on your new FDE. I was lucky enough and found a FDE 19 on the first run and love it.

    Congrats on the FDE.

Any G21 is a good choice.

Now you have me thinking about a G21 FDE. Must resist....
