I'm sure most of you have already seen this on 1911.forum.com, but I've been a member here for a while too, and I enjoy the 1911 forum here on Glocktalk.

Just a couple pics of my new CQB.

    -Bullet Proof upgrade
    -flat trigger
-grey frame and silver small parts
    -flushed crown
    -recessed slide stop
    -flat spring plug
    -no FCS
    -cursive engraved "Wilson Combat"
-U-notch tactical boot sight (the new one)
    -tritium front sight
    -VZ black paper micarta 320's

Thanks! My first 1911 was an STI Trojan that I thought was really nice, and it was. But the step up to a Wilson is a leap, there is no comparison.

Yeah, I have both and the CQB is certainly a better 1911 than the Trojan.

Of course, its over twice the price.

I saw that on 1911Forum. That is one good looking gun. Very original.

I love the combination of a crowned barrel and a smooth plug.

I have a Morris Custom on order with a similar setup. It looks very clean, in my opinion.

Oh man, that's going to be a sweet piece.

The flat plug is a new Wilson "bullet-proof" item, machined from a solid piece of steel.

    Yep.

Mark Morris also manufacturers his own flat plugs.

Mine will be hardchromed without the engraving though. I don't care for engraved handguns.
