Congrats! Be mindful of the ammo you run in the DE, as the stock configuration barrel has been know to bulge casings of the higher impulse ammo. Be sure to test it out if you are going to rely on it for defensive work.

The good news is Underwood makes a load specifically for the DE. Looks like a plenty hot load at a very attractive price.

  4. Man that's no safe queen. Carry that thang!

Ditto on high powered loads. I had 2 case head failures shooting hot Swamp Fox (RIP Mike).

The Underwood 1240 FPS load works great however.

Why did you spend that money for a safe queen?

NOT that this gun is expensive compared to wilson or even kimber but for ME the amount of money and scarcity is why im considering keeping it safe and out of this Michigan's humidity. up till now i've had only glocks a taurus a kahr p380 and a couple plastic 22lr platforms none very expensive. this delta is about 2x cost of anything else i have.

My glocks are most often my carry pieces. I have a 27exo talo for daily carry along with the kahr for hot days and 29sf for woods. All in all i really did not NEED this gun it was and has been a horrible WANT of mine since 2008 that i had to put an end to. i just was wondering if anybody else thought it wise to hide it away and covet it. i do want to take it to the range though....Really badly:cool:

Got my Glock Gen 4 model 29 yesterday too!!
nice-gotta go shoot the thing ASAP -too much heat !! 95 yesterday. I had an early 29 -sold it some time ago -this is much nicer gun. Gotta get the 40 and 357 barrels from KKM now--$$$$ Help! Isn't this fun?

Your very lucky its only 10 days ...love my gen 3 29 as well as you can see in pic. As for barrels i buy stormlake. My .40 and 10mm barrel feed reliably and have great chamber support. Many will disagree but in comparison to my friends lone wolf and kkm ill keep buying from storm lake. but thats just one comparison and opinion. Do you want a broach cut barrel (storm lakes) or button cut (kkm) read up on the difference for yourself they both have ups and downs to my understanding.Happy shooting congrats and enjoy!

I WANT!! I've looked and can't find any info on the Delta Elite Rail Gun. Is it for sure going to be released or is this a cruel tease? When will it be available?

I recently purchased one of the new Delta Elites and I love it but would really like the railed version.

I think this Rail 10mm Colt is a bogus deal-the bottom is prob a Colt 45
rail gun as the 10mm has a solid trigger and no goodies like the beavertail etc........the slide appears to be a std Delta Elite. The frame has a Delta Elite grip on it-thats a mock up and/or a photoshop-no info on Colt web sites that I can find -as to a new gun combining the two.
I would sure like to not have to make one! Great idea. How about it Colt??
