Unfortunately, it is a Special Combat, thus it will be way over-priced for a Colt.
I would prefer it to be a normal production CCO like in the past so cheap skates like me could actually afford one.

Steel or aluminum frame? Hard to tell from photos, I know, but it looks like it might be steel? If it is, sweet.
Yep, anything with a beavertail from Colt is at least $1200
colt XSE's with beavertails are about $900.

no specifics as of yet. a guy on 1911forum is supposed to call colt and find out more. i'll post it when he does, my friend
Special Combats are Colts top of the line and they are NOT cheap. 1500 will be a good guess, I bet.
I'm thinking it will be a 1,500 to 1,600 dollar gun OTD. A little steep IMO.
