    That is a sweet gun. I'm not much of a gun aficionado and only have Glocks so can you please tell me what 1911 model that is? I really am interested in one and that looks like my taste. thanks.

    I always liked that model. Almost had one but the deal fell through.

    Thanks. It's the Springfield 1911 Black Stainless. I put the black mag well and the VZ Alien grips. Also has a Kimber pro tac mag with the extended bumper. I had Sam Slaughter at Choate Machine & Tool do a trigger job on it also. It's kind of a work in progress right now.
