I did it, i got a DW Valor. After months of research into the different companies, models, trims, colors, etc. I finally went out and got the Dan Wesson today.

I cant express how happy I am, picked it up for $1559 out the door, June 2010 test fire. I love the Heine sights! I am nothing short of satisfied, can't wait to take it out now.

Congratulations! Check the set screw in the rear sight. Mine was not tight enough to hold the sight in position during my first range trip.

Nice gun, mine has been a joy.

As said, check the rear set screw and tighten with a 1/16 hex.

At the range verify POA/POI and then Blue Loc-tite the threads. Drop a dab in the in the front sight pin and proceed to shoot thousands upon thousands of rounds.

We're seeing more of you lately.

Are you making a comeback? Are you out of hibernation?

Your comparison between the SS springfield TRP and the valor you did a while back was actually the tipping point that swayed me in favor of this over the Fusion recon elite, TRP, and Kimber Tactical HD II. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and roll the dice, but once I read your comparison that was it. I've done a bunch of dry firing with it since yesterday, pretty sure I've worn out my snap caps now. If I had to really love one specific thing about it above all else, I think it has to be that trigger, so clean and light. Now if I can only get the wife to see it how I do, had a hard enough time trying to explain the difference between standard definition TV and the 1080p 120hz/240hz TVs...
