New 15.5gr NTX 17HMR and Mach2

    thought id pass on Hornady is coming out with a 15 grain NTX polymer tipped round in HMR and Mach 2. It was on there website. I don't own a 17 but i think they should have gone with a heavier 30gr bullet in HP.
     
  2. The new 15 gr rounds are lead free for areas like California that ban lead ammo in some areas.

    30 gr bullet is taken care of nicely by the .22 mag. What makes the .17 HMR work is velocity and you won't get that with a 30 gr bullet.
