I am wanting to get a new 9mm handgun primarily as a range gun. I know it can be slim pickings in my LGS but I am willing to buy online.

This are the criteria I am looking for:

    1. Under $800 but prefer under $700

    2. Full size

    3. Prefer single action with great trigger but would consider DA/SA

    4. Want something really accurate in case I decide to do some IDPA.

    What do you guys recommend??

My favorite is the Browning Hi Power, but they don't have the best trigger out of the box.

A lot of good ones out there the CZ is tops on my list of favorites, but right up there is the SIGPro 2022 I have both. I would shoot either in competition.

One I found locally is the Beretta PX4 Storm. I've never shot it. Anyone have any experience with it? Also like the looks of the Beretta 92A1.

I'm not recommending you anything, but the Beretta M9/92FS is what I would pick, based on the criteria.

CZ75 SA is the natural choice. I believe Sig just announced a SA version of the 226 that would be worth a look too.

Try the Sig SP2022 you could get both 9mm and .40 for $800. Great range gun and built very well.. Best kept secret in firearms IMO.....
