Looking for recommendations and suggestions to put some weight on. I'm 58 years old and have recently lost about 17 pounds. I'm 5'7 and now weighing about 126. I have had some health issues and do have high cholesteral (edit for spelling). I have also had 3 heart attacks and 3 back operations so weight lifting is kind of out, except light work outs. My eating habbits are not the best lately due to personal problems, so I need some advice. I would like to add definition to every part of my body, not just in certain areas.
Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
    Rick

well w/o being able to get a good training routine going for yourself you are going to be limited.
First thing you have to do is focus on diet. To build lean muscle mass you need to take in a decent amount of quality protein, look to 1g per lb you weigh. Try to eat alteast ever 3 hours...balanced meals. Drink ALOT of water...cut unwanted processes sugars out of your diet (sodas, ice cream...junk food in general)...
Take a quality multi-vitamin and multi-mineral each morning (I use Great Earth brand only).
Also get yourself some quality glutamine (helps with muscle repair and also helps with volumization as well as other functions)...
Try to do a light workout atleast 4x a week. If you are unable to lift weights then invest in some of those stretch bands and just use those..better then nothing. results will not come quickly so just keep at it and eventually you will get to where you want to be
