May have an opportunity to pick on up for 1K in LNIB condition. Is this a fair price and is the a good 1911 for that money? I have a few 1911's but I am not familiar with this particular model. Opinions wanted.
    Thanks,
    Mike

I think it's a very nice 1911. That price is pretty good as well IMO. I think it is worth buying at that price.

I picked mine up a couple years ago from a pawn shop in Georgia for $675.

I would prefer an internal extractor model. But, Wolff Gunsprings
makes a extra power extractor spring that cures any issues.

    $675? Wow.....

Did you have to...you know perform some kind of "appreciation act" in the back room of the pawn store to get that price? :)

Actually, what happened was my little brother, who lives in Georgia, found the pistol and was telling me about it. Well, I made a phone call to the pawn shop and inquired about it. Needless to say what transpired after that. The hard part was telling my brother that I bought the pistol before he had a chance to think about it. It was just better off being with my other Kimbers.
