shotgun shell carriers.
looking for something to grab and run with. any suggestions are appreciated
i have thought about just looking for some other ideas to though.
There are several things available... shotshell belts and bandoleers.. if you look on cabela's you should find some dump pouches that hold about 100 rounds.. MTM has plastic tackle boxes of sorts that hold 50 or 100 rounds... I've seen some "sportsmans dry boxes" that have trays for shotshells...
There are also dedicated clays bags or shell bags that hold anywhere from 100 to 300 shotgun shells, and have multiple compartments and a shoulder strap. Very inconspicuous, and LOTS of shells.
I bough two boxes like this last year, and they came with two trays each. One box now had 3 trays installed, and comfortably holds a well organized 150 rounds of buckshot and slugs. I am quite sure more would fit without the trays, but this way they are very well organized, and each type of shell is readily identifiable.
note the Bandoleer. It works, and it is hilarious looking. Do it.
