Need help with a sound file PLEASE!

    You should be able to save the Wav file and then set your preferences to point to that sound file when you receive an e-mail.

    Here is an article that should help http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_do_i_disable_my_windows_startup_sound.html

    Instead of disabling the sound, as in the article, you just want to change the sound. At the bottom of the window labeled Sounds and Audio Device properties
    you want to select the Tab Sound

    At the very bottom of the tab, you should see where you can browse for another sound.

    As far as your phone goes, you may have to convert the file to another format for your phone. What kind of phone do you have?

    Outlook express I can't save the file for some reason I really want this :crying:

    I know how to change my sounds just can't capture this wav for some reason

    Sure can, I changed my open program sound to it and now every time I launch a program I hear it.

    Got it, it was firefox that was giving me problems once I switched to IE it was easy

    Had no trouble saving the file to my desktop. Had no trouble playing it.
