My wife finally wants to learn to shoot... finally.I need to find a range or land that is outdoor where we can practice drawing and some drills. Both long gun and pistol.

American shooting center in Katy is beyond terrible imho. I'm used to the open desert and Ben Avery range in AZ.

If you have land near the Katy area, I will pay you to let us shoot! Or, we can work out something with ammo or what have you (not my wife:tongueout:).

PM me if you have property or know of a better range.

    Thanks,
    Matthew

The Impact Zone is about half an hour west of Katy. I shot there with the West Houston IDPA a few times several years ago. They're a private range though, so I don't know how you'd go about getting a membership. Might be worth checking out though.

i absolutely hate ASC. memorial shooting center is great. very nice people and good selection of firearms for purchase or rent. wed is half off after 3pm. i just wish it was closer to me as i live in the med center.
