We have this great little auction house here in town and they do gun auctions every qtr or so.

I was perusing the docket and saw this
COLT KING COBRA :) would rather an SS Python but..

looks awesome, I want a wheel gun and this may fit the bill

Oh dont you guys get cute and start proxy bidding, if I see 30 new bids in the few hours..I will hire /b/ to ruin you. :)

what says ye 1911 braintrust ?? good buy or good bye

granted that auction is not over so it jump may jump up quite a bit yet.

Asking about that here and posting a link? That's like introducing your hot Eastern European girlfriend to a few hundred of your buddies. Good luck with that.

concern noted, I am watching the bids live ..:steamed:
  5. The King Cobra was Colt's entry into the over-built .357 market that Ruger's GP-100 and S&Ws 686 dominated at the time.

A solid pistol with Mk V action (IIRC). Shouldn't have any serious warts.

    Good luck.
