Need help on this colt at auction

    We have this great little auction house here in town and they do gun auctions every qtr or so.

    I was perusing the docket and saw this
    COLT KING COBRA :) would rather an SS Python but..

    looks awesome, I want a wheel gun and this may fit the bill

    granted that auction is not over so it jump may jump up quite a bit yet.

    I say buy it.. that would be one of the few Colt products made that I would consider buying..

    The King Cobra was Colt's entry into the over-built .357 market that Ruger's GP-100 and S&Ws 686 dominated at the time.

    A solid pistol with Mk V action (IIRC). Shouldn't have any serious warts.
