Hi guys! i need some help in upgrades on a .40 cal. armscor high-cap. what are the right parts for this if i would replace the internal parts with top brands (ed brown, sti, C&S, etc.)and which ones would be the right parts for it? (is it for a 9mm/38 super or .45 parts)?

get a C&S drop in kit consisting of the following (hammer, sear, strut and disconnector), sti sear spring, xl firing pin and a tungsten guide rod and your ready to rock! it would also be good to get a bomar installed and a f.o. front sight too.

most of the parts are built for a 1911 platform, you can use it for all calibers mentioned.

forget about the tungsten guide rod. have col bayang do the longdust on your blaster, he can make a guide rod for you as well as a microdot front sight

    His location is California.

For the receiver, the parts are the same except for the ejector (38 super)

For the slide, extractor and firing pin for 38 super, preferably series 70 for the extractor(i think Armscor is series 70).
Firing pin stop by EGW (oversize, for 40) square corner.

armscor stock parts are good, if you want mods, heres my recommendations, basic mods:
    - install of fiber optic front sight (fixed novak like rear sight is good)
    - install flgr with reverse plug
    - install magwell
    - install basepads in magazines
    - have a trigger job
    and more to go hehehe

Hehehe! dito sa CA wala pa akong baril sa pinas meron sir vega at yung armscor ay nasa pinas! my brother-in-law sold it( armscor .40) to me, (transfer it to me when i get back) kaya when i get back sa pinas (early next year) i'll try to work on it(as i have mentioned, replace the parts, that's why i need opinions for it since it's my first time to acquire a non-colt firearm and definitely i won't change my username cause i'm still am a colt fan! hehe! thanks for all your inputs guys and keep on coming! cause i need it!

the screw scratch is my fault, i removed the grip cover during one range session coz i like the feel of the grip without the grip cover, it feels so comfortable with my hand. i replaced back the grip cover just for the photoshoot but i dont think a matter of small scratch in the screw can ruin the entire modifications.

    my 1 cent please
