I recently got a Canon camcorder...when I upload videos to my computer it saves as a .mt2s file. I would like to convert it to a file I can upload to youtube...

Can someone suggest a good (free) program for this?

    Thank you

  2. your camcorder should have come with software to do that.... did it not?

I have used "Internet Video Converter". while I have not converted into flash (for uploading), I have converted from flash. It is free, although I don't have the url available. If you search for it by name, you should be able to find it.

I use the software that came with my Canon and it uploads them as .avi.

Check out the settings on the camera for video encoding and I think you might be able to change it there.
