I have seen it done, just wondering what this would involve.
You have seen what done with a Nagant 'pistol' (it really is a revolver)?
Are you talking about adding a supressor (that seems to be the most common queston about those revolvers) or ??
I can only hope the OP is thinking about cutting the stock off a mosin and shortening the barrel to 4 inches. I'd pay to watch him shoot it.
I'll guess that it involves reducing the 13-20lb trigger pull?
Here is a jerry-rig way to reduce the pull: http://www.surplusrifleforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=56731
This. and I will make a vid because I would like to see it too
It amazes me that people will pay $200 for a tax stamp to cut down a $50 rifle.
I agree. I see no need for it and the accuracy has got to be horrific. I think they do it for the fun factor and making someone's eyes bug out when they see it and shoot it.
I would be willing to be that it's key holing at 6 feet.
