My VBOB with Hard Hat

    I got my VBOB back from Severns Custom today. I had him apply his Hard Hat finish and a couple other custom touches. Someday I will break down and by a camera, but here are a couple really bad cell phone pics

    If anyone is considering the Hard Hat finish, go for it. It is a very nice looking finish. It is smooth and the color is very even. I have seen a DW that was done in HH about three years ago and has been carried a lot. It looks new!

    I know there is a lot of DW criticism here ,but I like them. Just for fun, here is a picture of my humble DW family

    That looks great. Looks a lot like the "Duty Treat" finish on my CCO. :whistling:

    It is an EGW Monogram Bushing and plug with Dave's signiture Trident engraved on the plug.

    I still don't understand the flush cut and deep crowned barrel though.
