I love it. This is the first semi custom gun I own and now, thanks to you, I am looking for another CCO, maybe a les baer stinger or a springfield CCO. I should start a DRC made me buy it thread.

Are you looking for a new or used Stinger?

I just spent $5000 on 1911 the past 2-3 months, so nothing for now. But maybe in about 6 months either new or used.

I really like 1911s with unmarked slides, so many manufacturers feel the need to put a giant billboard sized name on theirs... unmarked ones just look strictly business. Very nice.

Those shredder grips looks rough :) Do they sell a watered down version for those of us with girly hands ?

    Very nice 1911 congrats!

Alex actually smooths off the rough edges before he ships them. They are not quite as bad as they look. They are awesome to shoot with, but not so much so to carry (especially IWB) with. You can always do what Brian did.....just order the GI Alumagrips in OD....An excellent looking combination, as well.

Have Dave, I assume Alex will ship sans grips if I definintely didn't want Shredders or OD AlumaGrips? Say if I wanted LD to make some bobtailed Horned Lizards, I supposed he could send them to Alex for fitting perhaps?
