After I bought my baer Monolith I had an Itch for a carry 1911. I was originally looking at the Kobra Carry. Then I saw the Executive Carry. Basically the same gum with different Machining on the frame/slide. The KC is very popular and seem to be very common. So I went with the less seen Exec. Now I need a good holster. Anyway, I bring the gun home and I'm holding both " Baer and Brown" Side by side. While they are both nice guns, the brown with the legendary name, Quality and craftsmanship. And don't forget the PRICE. Would expectingly be better than the baer in most ways. Right? Well the trigger on my baer is great with no creep very smooth and a light crisp break. While the Brown is a little heaver and has some creep.I don't mind the pull weight but the creep drives me crazy. But it is new and not broken in yet. I don't know if that will have an impact on the creep. I guess Ill have to shoot it to find out..

Congrats. I also almost went with an EC vs my KC, but I really love the feel of the KC grip. How do you like the checkering on your EC so far? I've heard it's really rough.

I like the Checkering. I work with my hands so they to are a little rough also. I like the grip of the checkering vs. The scales. But the scales cool cool.

I like the snakeskin pattern on the Kobra, but checkering is more classy.

No, after that is taken up there is a little creep right before the BOOM. My Les does not have any creep at all. Its not allot. Most people might not take any mind to it. But for $2500 it bothers me.
