I took pictures today of my new rifle now that I got its scope on. I've only had it for about a month but love it. The lighting wasn't the best but here goes:

I hope to get a new sling after Christmas and maybe a light down the road. Any more suggestions?

That looks really nice, I bet you'll enjoy it!
I've got a Millet DMS w/ PEPR mount on a 20" AR, it's a lot the same. It's one of my favorite coyote hunting rifles.

I know that a scope will "see around" a front sight post, but I've never witnessed first hand how well.

Is the field of view obstructed at all?

I've been wanting a full rail over a low-profile gas block in order to avoid the FSP, but if I don't really need to get such an upper, then I may avoid it.
