I just got in this Model 1927 Colt made for Argentina (EJERCITO ARGENTINO). This is one of 10,000 made (s/n: 48XX). I was told it was reparked sometime ago. Overall, it is in excellent condition.

In the next couple day, I should be receiving my used Llama Mini-Max .45.

I kept telling myself I should have bought one back years ago when they first started importing them and prices were really cheap..... Same with Inglis Hi Powers.....

Clearly - well, as clearly as the picture allows - marked Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co. Inc. Hartford Ct, USA. Not made in Argentina, made FOR Argentina before they got tooled up to build their licensed copies. Good catch.

Cool guns, but don't pass it off as a 1911. ;)

    They're a good bit different.
