My New BCM Baby.

Discussion in 'Black Rifle Forum' started by Nutt51, Jan 14, 2010.

  1. Finally got all my parts in and assembled my new BCM baby.
Kept it clean and only posted pics of the rifle.
    Parts are:

BCM mid-length upper with hammer forged barrel.
    BCM lower.
    BCM bolt carrier group.
    BCM Gunfighter charging handle, medium.
    Magpul CTR stock.
    Magpul 30rd. magazine.
    Cavalry Arms middy handguards.
Upper is a flat top, but has the addition of the carry handle
from my Colt H-Bar, which is going to get scoped later.

I know there are all kinds of AR brands out there and some are
rated better and some worse than mine, but I cannot express how
pleased I am with my BCM. Fit and finish are excellent. Warranty,
Customer Service, and Shipping are all top notch.
BCM and Bravo Company are A1, in my opinion.

Looks great. I am considering putting a BCM together. All my other ARs where put together by me from low cost kits. I may not know what I am missing from a more expensive product.

Congrats! They are a great company with great product and support, I love my BCM middy and use them for as many of my purchases as I can!

Thanks. No sir, that's a Troy MRF DI and she is rock solid. Really good (and tight) rail for the money.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did your rifle cost you to build (subtracting the $ for the MagPul stuff)?

    Nice!

It sounds like a lot of people are jumping on the BCM bandwagon. I may do so myself.

  11. Thisaway,

I purchased the hammer forged barrel upper for $525.00.
    The complete lower was $360.00.
    Bolt carrier group was $139.00.
    Gunfighter charging handle was $44.95.
All the above were BCM from Bravo Co.
Calvary Arms handguards were $30.00 from Brownells.
    ___________________________________________________________
    That comes to about $1,072.

If you went with the BCM standard mid upper at $425.00
and the standard charging handle at $22.95
and used the difference to buy a good brand name
fixed or folding BUIS or carry handle with sights
which run from about $90.00 to $140.00, you would
    come out about the same.
