I really like the sub-notebooks, especially for travel.

I have an Asus 5NE that I take everywhere.

A good friend of mine has the same one you have and he could not be happier. He got it when Dell sent out one of their weekly email specials.

    Enjoy yours !!!

Nice notebook. You will like the centrino. I have a new Gateway with the centrino proc and onboard wireless. I was really surprised at the range Net Stumbler will pick stuff up. If you haven't gotten it already, make sure you get the new Net Stumbler program, it's worth it.

Congrats! How is it working out? Is they keyboard large enough for you? I only ask cause I just bought the same one (should be here Tuesday) and a sales guy at Dell tried to talk me out of it and into the 600m.

I love it, its very small and they keyboard took some getting used to but it suites me just fine. The 600m is what i call a normal sized notebook. but i like this one because i use it with my gps for my car navigation system. screen is reflective but isnt that big of a deal most of the time you dont see the reflection unless your looking at it at an agle in your car where there is sun light. youll love it.

I was looking at the 700m for college purposes. A laptop would be nice to have, because I can type much much faster than I can scribble down notes. Plus I can organize it and save it much more conveniently, too.

I'm trying to find a reason not to buy one. Sigh.

My 700m came today. I think the keyboard will be ok after I get used to it. I might have to change the settings on the screen though. I am kinda getting a headache after a few hours on it. But iirc, I got headaches when I first switched from a desktop to a notebook so my eses will probably adjust to looking at the smaller fonts.
On the positive side, it is a lot faster than my old one that only has the celeron. I also love having the SD slot. The intergrated wireless worked great right out of the box. I was worried about that because I had been having trouble connecting to my wireless network with my old one.
