my new 45 with its new grips

    Looks nice but it's hard to tell what the gun is in the picture what are the details?

    Its a american classic 11.It is a deep blue color even though the pics didn't come out as well as I'd hoped.the grips are called fiddleback maple. sj

    Yes, larger pic. I like the deep blue and the smooth grip combo.

    That is some very fine maple. I would love to get my hands on some museum quality maple like that. Complements the gun fabulously.

    Glad that you're happy with the grips. It looks like others like them as well. I have to agree that the fiddleback maple does look good on a blued frame. Let me know if I can help with anything else!

    On side note, I think before anybody posts a picture of any gun, especially a 1911, they should go through Bac's School of Gun Photography! How about it Bac? Or at least post a picture of your "stage" set up!
