Ya, its a carver mount. Its a diy project. The toughest part was in tuning it to make it ipsc-reliable, considering the mount almost covers all of the ejection port on top. And did it, reliable and accurate! In 9mm luger, its kkm barrel is capable of ipsc major loads.

Thanks guys for all the kind words of appreciation! You made my journey most worthwhile.

  3. Kabayan do you mind if I ask you the price of the carver mount here in Manila? Thanks

you're right, its for minor but I have tested it works both in minor and major w/o over pressure problem. I prefer it over the one for major coz the major comp needs a lot of powder to be reliable even w/ minor pf. In such case, you need to lengthen the oal of the 9mm ammo to have more space for the additional powder to be safe, and correspondingly modify the throat of the barrel, w/c I dont want to do. (I see it as a virtual .38super.) Anyway, my primary purpose for it is as training aid for my standard gun. Hence, it will be shot mostly w/ minor loads (as in level 1 matches.) But if major pf is required, I can always use it and still be reliable w/ the ammo load as the only mod I will do. Right now Im using it w/ 149 pf loads.

For holster, I modified a crspeed ws model for glocks. It was the easiest part w/ my rotary tool. Dont look for holster for it in gun stores coz there is none.

Atma, I saw your glock mods in Sn Pablo years ago. Are you still at it? Me, I shoot 1911 in std now, but I still enjoy glocks (specially when it kick the butts of 1911's:supergrin:)

yup glock pa din sa standard, its my HD gun as well, nilagyan ko sevigny night sights, my latest mod na maganda results was a lightened steel striker that I cross-drilled to lighten it further.

i was having light strikes on hard "white" primers like magtech, the mod mentioned above cured it.

my next pistol may likely be an XDM, pang production and carry as well, pwede din iwan sa mga babae sa bahay when im away as back-up to my taurus 5shot revolver, baka maubosan sila ng bala, hindi marunong mag reload ng "revo" mga yun, iwan ko nalang XDM sa kanila chamber loaded, para all they have to do is pull the trigger.
