Have you ever tried Anchovie butter, Kurt? It is good stuff:eat:

1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) unsalted butter, softened
4 teaspoons minced drained bottled capers
3 flat anchovy fillets, minced and mashed to a paste
1 garlic clove, minced and mashed to a paste
    2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

    preparation

In a small bowl cream together the butter, the capers, the anchovy paste, the garlic paste, the lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Let the butter stand, covered, in a cool place for 1 hour to allow the flavors to develop. Serve the butter with veal or seafood.

Don't be making fun of Okie's equipment. He can't help it if it has spots on it.

    Good for you, okie.

A gentleman never discusses recipes and especially which condiments he prefers on his spotted dick.
It's just not done in polite circles.
