Well I went to my local gun store with no intentions of buying a gun but when I held the gen 3 G19 I just had to have it! It was on sale for 500 bucks which I didn't think was bad. Now I have a Remington 870, marlin .22 rifle, Smith and Wesson sigma (first pistol), and now the G19! Still haven't got to the range to shoot it but I already know I will love it!

    Congrats!

Now shoot it for 1000 rounds before you get the itch to modify it.

Nice decision on the G19. It will probably be your most fun and reliable firearm ... :woohoo:

With my new purchase I am going to take my ccw course within the next couple months. Was wondering what holster you guys would suggest. I want to go with a IWB holster I was debating between the crossbreed supertuck and the Galco kingtuk. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

  9. Congrats! I love my G19. IMO it is one of the best choices for a first time Glock owner. 9mm is cheap so you can practice more and it fills the role of a CCW / Duty, Home Defense Weapon very nicely. Congrats and enjoy!!

BTW: If it shoots low and left - do a quick forum search. ;)

    Congratulations.

Whatever you do, do not modify it, other than perhaps putting Talon grips on it to make it easier to hold.

But, do not replace any original part until you've put a lot of rounds through it.

Don't ask me how I learned this lesson.

    :crying:

I just purchased a g3 g19 from buckeye outdoors and ran 200 rounds through it today. By far the most comfortable gun I've shot. The grip angle actually feels better to me. I'm already considering the g26.

Sell the Sigma, buy ammo, QUALITY holster, mag carrier, and take a defensive handgun course.
