I have several other shotguns, but somehow have made it this far without an 870.
I corrected this oversight last week, the store had this model 81201 on sale for $299. I like my brothers 25077, this is similar, but with "Tiger Stripe Urban Camo. Cheaper than black and "Tacti-cool".

Took it out for a function test last weekend. Worked fine, no problems through a box.

Look at it closly and you can see why they can sell it so cheap.
Heavy matte black finish, lots of machining marks left.

Well, I bought it as a working gun, so its going to get banged around.
I hope it has the reliability Remington 870's are known for.

I just bought the exact same gun. It is a 'Talo Edition'
Put it through a pretty good workout using a variety of shells. Not one hiccup.

    Gotta love the 870.

I figured it was a distributer special when I couldn't find it on the Remington website.

Now I have to get some swivels and put a sling on it.

I wonder what color would be complementary?

Here's a pretty cool video of some folks comparing this exact scattergun with the Mossberg and Winchester.
