Got the upper last night....still too lazy to take pics. You'll get 'em when its all together. That cost $885 with 2 30rd pmags.

Stupid lower still not here yet (only been a week since I send payment). That's $360.

Tonight I ordered from Cheaper than Dirt and Primary Arms:

Troy flip up rear sight ($124)
    AR-15 A2 front sight tool ($7)
Primary Arms M3 clone and cant mount ($80)
    Magpul rail covers (4) ($28)

So, my budget that started at $1300 max has finished at $1515. I'm pretty sure I could have done this a little cheaper, but I guess I spent a little extra to get exactly what I wanted. I have also learned that for right now I suppose I could have gone with plain jane plastic handguard and saved the $250-300 on the quad rail, but the OTHER thing I have learned is that the AR-15 is the most addictive firearm as far as customizing goes. I still have another $300-400 I want to put into it, but I suppose I should save a little cash for ammo!

Sounds fun! My next AR I'll build. Too easy to get expensive! What upper from BCM? 16"? Twist? Muzzle brake or flash suppressor? More specs! And pics eventually to drool over :)

You'll love it, trust me. My 16" midlength is 90% BCM, Magpul, and Troy. Only thing that isn't is the LPK (which is CMT), the optic (don't have yet), light (Fenix), and light mount (VTAC).
