I had a great day on Friday.

Went to lunch at the casino with my Nancy and mother.

    Won $90 within 5 minutes.

    Returned home Saturday the 6th,

found some B-day cards and also a package from Hungary, in my mailbox/ 4 SETS OF GRIPS!

    What a nice present!

    They fit my MDE perfectly.

and look quite splendid with my holster and mag pouch.

(I'm keeping some grips but will sell a pair in the near future)

Well, after a nice pizza dinner. We arrived back home, and I was to full for my cake.

I then opened a small box from Nancy and some other presents
    from family members as well.

The light /laser combo of my dreams was in that small box!

Though intended for my soon to arrive P-07 Duty.

It seems right at home on my P-01.

Plenty bright, with settings for light, laser or combo.

Know that the laser dot on the Insight, almost touches the dot from
    my Crimson Trace laser grips.

I'm running it light only for now.

Thanks to my family and Dennis Marschal, I had a superb Birthday!

  2. Very nice CZ. Is the P-01 the lighter gun than SP01?

    Beyond the beyond
Well done, Clarkston. Well done indeed. We think the CZ P-01 is one of the finest 9mm pistols extant. Ours is green. We do not care. It shoots great.

How do you like your little CZ?? How many rounds?? Any problems?? Anything you do not like??

We are casually shopping for a pocket gun to replace our Colt Pony, which is adequate but leaves some to be desired. At 19oz unloaded the Pony is heavier than we prefer. We also do not care for the trigger pull which is horrendously long and heavy making the Pony difficult to hit with beyond "across the table" distances.

We are interested in your impressions of the little CZ.

    Thanks in advance.

    We trudge on.

P01 is quite a bit lighter and compact than a 75B or SP-01.
PCR is even lighter than that.
MDE is a real joy to carry and shoot.
