I purchased my 2nd G26 this past week, its a gen4, my other is a gen3. I went to the range on Friday and today and put through 436 rounds through it. I tested everything I had on hand: 115 grains (Win, Rem, PMC, Blazer Brass, Federal, Hornady Critical Defense) 124 grains (Golden Saber +P) I mostly used 12 or 10 round magazines, but did use a 15 and a 17. I had one round jam on the 15 round magazine. I'm assuming it was because i was griping the magazine and causing a funny angle for it to feed. I had 2 rounds total land on my right arm. I had one round land on the top of my head(I think it bounced off the range wall). I had 2 rounds go to the left (If I remember right they were both the last rounds of a magazine) Everything else went to the 3-4ish position. I did notice that it seemed anytime I had an issue, I was also gripping the gun pretty lightly. I'd consider this acceptable in my book and this gun is good to go, but I will continue to shoot and see if it starts to develop any problems. I also want to do some more testing with using a bigger magazine and gripping it to see if i can create the same error. I did some playing around with the 1911 test(firing without a magazine) I've been seeing people do. I took my gen3 (2007ish) g19 with me and tested it with the 1911 test. It failed to eject and jammed almost every time. The g26 gen4 on the other hand ran like a champ, although it ejected differently than normal, it was ejecting to more like the 5 o'clock position and ejected incredibly high compared to normal, which I was kind of impressed to see I did this 20 times and each time was consistent. Overall I am very happy with this gen4 g26. I'm going to continue to shoot it and get the round count up. I need to do some looking into my g19 and see if I need to do some parts swapping as it has several thousand rounds through it now and might need to be updated.
