Mas, I moved up from a G23 (My first gun and carry piece) to a Glock 30SF. I live in NY and capacity is not an issue. I was wondering what your thoughts on the 230gr Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel vs the +p 230gr.

    Thanks in Advance
    Geoff

Try both. Recoil of +P is definitely snappier in some hands, not so much so in others, largely dependent on technique and experience. Either should be an excellent choice. At the moment I'm wearing a G30 with standard pressure 230 grain Winchester Ranger-T, and feel well-armed.

    YMMV,
    Mas
