    What's yours?

.44 mag. With shotshells, it'll blow a rattlesnake clean in half.

And, mess up a bullfrog, or two.

Ruger Mk. II, but the term "unneeded" is very debatable. I think everyone "needs" a good semi-auto .22 of some sort (except that POS zinc-framed Walther P22.)

Not my pic, but it's the same model/barrel type:

I've got a twenty year old slab-side one.

It's not only needed, but mandatory.

I actually beat the big boys, at some informal competitions, with it and won money.

I think the Mk. series of .22 autos that Ruger makes are some of the best made. Very accurate, built like a tank, field stripping can take some practice, though. Then they had to go ruin it with the loaded chamber indicator and the mag-safety on the 3 series. :steamed:

Probably the Springfield Armory 1911 I just bought. I still carry a Glock I just always wanted a .45 1911 and I'm not getting any younger and my eyes aren't getting any better.

Smith & Wesson 22A w/ a multi-reticle hologrphic sight. It's meant for nothing more than fun and to keep shooting inexpensively after the .40 & 9mm run out at the range.

    My Ruger Vaquero .44 Mag.

Huaco - how do you hold that thing to shoot it? I can't figure out what would be the best way to do it.

Up against your shoulder doesn't really work.

Often, one-handed. Sometimes, two-hands and held out in front of you and you can use the sights.

Usually, from the hip. It's 'more funner' that way and gives the frogs a sporting chance.

H&K P2A1 26.5mm Flare Pistol. It's a great time during the 4th of July and such; the parachute flares are expensive, but big fun. Kids love them.
