Most trouble free gun you have less than $600

  1. Hi Point C-9, 9mm. Retail price was $139.00. I forget what I paid for it. Couple of thousand rounds with a few malfunctions, but I don't consider a malfunction to be "trouble." Trouble is when it continues to malfunction to the point you expect it to.

I'm cheating, of which I'm well known for, but at $649 NIB?
I'll put my Heckler and Koch P2000 357 Sig V2 gun up against anything.

I've owned several Glocks that were flawless as well.I think most modern auto pistols will function 100% out of the box, if the shooter knows how to handle them.
  6. GLOCK 27 and, ironically enough, my Hi-Point .45 ACP. I don't really need to go on about the GLOCK as a google search will turn up more torture tests than I can count, but I've fed the HP everything from WWB to reloads to Federal Premium and it's gone bang every time the trigger's been pulled without a problem.

Used 1994 Sig P239 9mm I bought for $550. Carried daily for many years now. One of the only handguns I own that I can't recall ever having a malfunction out of.
  15. All of mine are reliable and none cost 600 bucks.

That rare 'lemon' aside, a $600 autoloader that is poorly designed and unreliable will not last in the marketplace. Period.

Most reliable under $300 was a HS2000 (9mm) now known as the overpriced SA XD.
I recall paying $239 for it NIB.
  16. Beretta 92FS, Beretta Px4 SubCompact, Glock 21 Gen 4
