That's funny. They all shoot and praise Benelli shotguns. At least they used to.

I guess even for a bunch of "real" people, cash is king.

Perfect duck hunting shotgun. You don't need a dog to flush the bird, you just rattle the foreend and the bird will get startled enough to fly up.

Since when have they been "real" people since they started an obviously heavily scripted tv show?

The people you see on TV are little more than characters.

    And yes, cash is king.

So a cheap shotgun now will have the words "Duck Commander" on it, made especially for sheeple who watch "reality" shows? :dunno:I'm sure those words and probably "some special" new camo patteren will make the gun a great new "duck gun".

Hilarious considering they seem to always use benellis and Brownings.

I'm not talking about the A&E crap (though slightly entertaining). IIRC he used a Benelli in his videos, etc. as well.

They are going to ruin their name if they continue this stupidity.

I agree. I really liked those guys before all this crap. If there's one thing I hate, it's scripted "reality" TV.

Get ready for the $550 "Duck Commander" 500s now. As long as they don't do a "Duck Commander" lever action...scratch that, it can't be worse than the current tactical abortion they have.

I just picked up my 500 and wiggled the fore-end, you have me dying over here:rofl:

you could tell it was from the beginning when all of a sudden their cars were wrapped in DC stuff and T-Shirts started poping up with them.

The gimmickry has got to be stopped. Between Mossberg and Sig Sauer, is there anything left un-turned in marketing gimmicks?

The 590 A1 is my favorite shotgun. However when shopping Mossberg products lately (the last three years) I cringe at the clumsiness of the marketing gimmicks.

Chainsaw? Turkey Thug? really? What next...a Jersey Shore J-I-C?

I loved the show when it first came out before they were commercialized. Appears they are becoming the kardashyns

Mossberg and Sig should join forces with all their stupid "special offers".

Mossberg makes a great shotgun, but their "Chainsaw" and their gimmicky other crap really sullies there reputation with serious shooters. They should stick to the basics.

I don't watch the show but this doesn't surprise me. CCI has a "Troy Landry" line of 22lr that fetches more money than CCI's same ammo in a different box.

If not cash, what should their motivation be? Making money is the whole point of business.
