It seems pretty gimmicky to me but I was wondering what you guys think. I'm thinking of getting the Field/Home Defense combo with either the wood or the synthetic stock (undecided at the moment), but then I ran across the FLEX.

With a Mossberg 500 you can easily swap barrels but what's the big deal about swapping a handguard or a stock so quickly? Is the flex just "tacticool" or is something that might actually be worth looking in to?

I will use my shotgun for: Trap, Skeet, Hunting, and hopefully never Home Defense (I would like an 18.5" barrel).

OOPS didn't notice there was a shotgun forum...
