Mossberg 500A

    I was just given one of these and am looking for information on disassembling it and putting the pistol grip on i have zero experience with shotguns minus some shooting it is about 20 years old if that helps any, thanks.

    Youtube has lots of field strip videos. The 500 can get tricky too with its shell stop bar and interrupter bar (I think thats what they are? Its been a while). They often fall out when you field strip them and can be tricky getting then to stay in place when you try to reassemble the gun. Practice makes perfect. The good thing is they only go in 1 way. No accidental backwards or upside down installed parts.
