So I installed the foregrip that came with my Knoxx stock and the action tube retaining nut does not fit with the foregrip on. Is this a job for Dremel or does anyone have a tip that doesn't involve that nasty burnt plastic smell?

    Thanks guys!

I'm not sure. What exactly do I need to measure?

From the front of the action tube the back of the tube. But with that said most come set up for both. (I think)

The one I received with my set was for the ~7.5 tube, but it did not actually fit. (not due to modifications or anything else.. it just didn't fit on to the tube)

Here's what I got from Knoxx:

Thank you for your correspondence in regards to your Knoxx SpecOps stock w/forend for your Mossberg 590. Our forend for the Mossberg is designed around the 7 5/8” slide tube. If your shotgun has a 6 ¾” slide tube (which most Mossberg 590 shotguns do); it will require a 6 ¾ forend. We are now offering a replacement 6-3/4” forend part# K18220-C, and we would be glad to send you one at no charge. We have found that some Mossberg shotguns are not compatible with any of our forends; due to various modifications such as (barrel heat shields or sidesaddle shell holders); and some just do not fit at all. That is why we have never charged for our forend. The SpecOps stock is the same price as it was in 2008, when we did not include the forend. If you have any questions or concerns; please feel free to contact us.

    Best regards,

Mine didn't fit because it was warped like a banana, the nut wouldn't start on the threads because the tube was touching the forend on one side. I threw mine away, a friend of mine has one on his 870 and I don't care for the way it feels IMO it's too wide

I didn't know there were different length forend lengths before buying mine as I like the one that fit on my 590A1 and it fit so easily. I bought the Hogue Forend Adapter Nut (Hogue part 05020) and problem solved. I found one cheap on an auction site. You may consider that as an option.
