Also got a couple of factory extended mags from Eds Public Safety last week. The gun feels much more stable. That and my Talon grips give me a good hold on it

It was confirmed over the weekend that Tallahassee was the first match where the extensions were legal.

Is Glock making their own or just using Pearce? This is a +0, right? Brownells has them on sale for $5.69, but they don't actually have any :(

What are the mags with extension going for? I suspect $5.69 is about as good a price as I'll find...so I'm tempted to backorder 4 and keep one mag stock.

Glock is making their own bases. Both factory and Pearce are +0. Glock is not selling the bases separately.

Their use was confirmed by GSSF.

My understanding was just not allowed on subcompact.

Edit: Never mind :) looks like it has been answered and confirmed.

Ordered 4 Pearce extensions last night. Nothing can stop me from all "A"s now!

Cheaper than dirt. $5.05, but shipping was a killer. I Didn't see them at midway or brownells, which I normally prefer.

At $9.95 each? I don't think I can bring myself to do that. Is that with free shipping and installation? :)

Tax, handling, shipping, installation and field testing are all extra.

Alternative is to buy a factory mag with pinkie extension from Ed's Public Safety for $30.00 plus $5.00 shipping.

    Hi,

What has helped me is putting 1 inch inter tubes(3) and( 2) 2 inch tubes to get the gun from jumping out of my hand.
I also wrap my left trigger finger in front of the trigger gaurd, wide but short hands.
I use tubes on all my guns it really helps me. I used my 10 finger tip extention mags in Tallahassee.

    FYI

I tried that in dry fire practice the other night, and it felt like it would work. I tried it at the range today, and did not like it. I ended up with a grip more like my usual grip, except that instead of having both thumbs on the frame pointing at the target, I put my right thumb over the base of my left thumb (to get it away from the slide stop), and only the left thumb rested on the frame. I was able to shoot almost entirely A's and B's this way at 15yds, which is an improvement.

The funny thing was, after shooting 48 rounds through the 42, I fired a couple of mags through my 30S, 41, and 17. The 30S and 41 have had no trigger work done other than some light hand polishing with a cleaning patch and Flitz. Triggers in both felt really light.

This makes me wonder if shooting Pocket Glock mixed in with other divisions is a good idea.

I shot my 42 today and it requires really close sight alignment and slow trigger pull.
