Are you as moral as you think you are?

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Only you will know the results, so remember that your answer needs to be honest.

    THE SITUATION:
You are in Florida , Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

    THE TEST:
Suddenly you see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's Barrack Obama! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under forever.

    YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS:
You can save the life of Barrack Obama or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful socialist Muslim men hell bent on the destruction of America.

    THE QUESTION:
Here's the question, and please give an honest answer. "Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?"

high contrast film....you want to capture the full epic struggle. black and white would seem to one dimensional...and racist.

LOL! Even though I say I want to agree, it doesn't matter to me who it is. At that point all aspects of race, religion, politics, etc go out the window. If I can safely save someone, even my worst enemy I would. Just me, but I refuse to let someone in harm's way if I can prevent it.

    I agree with you b3t0.

I don't like him, didn't vote for him, don't like what he stands for,
damn sure don't like what he has done to our country, but I would still
    rescue him.

I might regret it afterwards, but I would definitely rescue him.

None of which would even be a factor for me. It's not who he is, or how he thinks, it's what he has done (or didn't do in the case of Benghazi).

That being said, I'd likely save him, but I wouldn't feel good about it.

DISCLAIMER: THE FOLLOWING IS NOT MEANT TO BE A COMPARISON OF THE TWO PEOPLE.

Change the question, what if the year was 1946 and the person drowning was Adolf Hitler (assume he wasn't dead at the time)?

Question 3, what if it was a man who raped and killed someone close to you?

    Where is the line?

ETA: Who the heck uses film any more. :whistling:

Black and white done well has a dramatic effect. So I would get the picture and toss him a pain pill.

Well given the choice I'd throw him a boat achor to make it quick! Besides no way in hell he'd be within a thousand miles of such a event! He'd make sure he was golfing in HI. Or touring Africa.
