Is Awesome!!!

This was the first time i have bought from them. Faxed my order and bullets were delivered 3 days later. (and they were supposed to be backordered for a week). Buy in volume and it was realitvely inexpensive too.

I've had really good experiences making .45 ball ammo with MG. I never think twice about sending my bullet money to Montana or Nebraska.

I buy all my 124gr 9mm from MG. Great company. Once theyre back in stock I'll be trying out their 147gr 9mm's for subsonic loads to shoot suppressed.

For .45acp I was thinking of trying out Precision Delta since they are much cheaper then MG for the .45's. Havent decided yet.

I'm just starting into reloading. But the guys here at the office routinely order from Montana Gold and split the shipping.

You do have to order a bunch with friends to make it make sense.

The last time I ordered a case the shipping was free. The times before that it was only $5.

It even says on their order page:

ALL ORDERS INCLUDE FREE SHIPPING!

Great company. Great service. Great products. Use 124 grain complete metal jacket (CMJ) for USPSA Open division competition. The back of the bullet is sealed so there is no build-up in the compensator from melted lead.

Case quantity insures free shipping. They use the U.S. Postal Service boxes that weigh in at just under 70 pounds for delivery. My postman is not very happy when he has to handle that box....

Their website says they have a minimum order amount of 1000. And that "All orders include free shipping". So that would make you think that even an order of only 1000 would still include the shipping.

Agree! I used to shoot lots of their stuff until prices went too high. I realized since I was just punching paper most of the time cast was the way to go. Their gold stuff is not SD quality anyway. I used to shoot lots of the 45 stuff. I bought some 380 hollow point stuff and it was regular copper jacket which leads me to believe they didn't make it. Anyway, cast is so much cheaper to punch paper with these days.

Technically, they are a wholesaler and ship free to businesses.
If all you order are 1000, then you ARE NOT a business and they will probably charge shipping. If you order more then 3000, you may get free shipping.

Nope. Ive ordered just 1000 before, shipped to my residence, and there was no shipping charge.

    Their webpage clearly states:
    "All orders include free shipping"

Just bought a case of 4,000 MG 115gn 9mm. $293 and free shipping. Cheaper than Precision Delta!

Last time I bought a case from them it came with a free United States Postal Service milk crate, due to the fact that the postman did not want to lift the box out of it LOL. I did give it back.

Montana Gold is cheaper for 9mm, but Precision Delta is cheaper for .45acp. SO, I share the wealth.

Once you factor in PD first price break and MG case price Pd is 50 cents a K cheaper for 115 gr. From 124 gr up the price just keeps going in PD favor. I like MG and wish their prices were a little lower.
