My new model 39 came with adjustable rear sights. The book is not clear about adjusting. Top screw for elevation & bottom for windage? Or the opposite. Thanks

With the Glock brand, the rear screw adjusts elevation. Don't know the brand you have. Why don't you just turn a screw a half turn and see what it does?
