Michigan's Early Antlerless Season

Discussion in 'Hunting, Fishing & Camping' started by RJ Schuknecht, Sep 17, 2009.

  1. The early antlerless season opened today. My brother and I hunted on his father-in-law's dairy farm in Sanilac County. Dropped this doe in her tracks at 114 yards just as the sun was breaking the horizon.

Dang good shot with a Muzzle loader bud!

It's amazing how far muzzle loaders have come since even I started hunting (I'm 23). The bullet technology and powders now a days make consistent shooting at longer distances very "do-able" with smoke-poles!

    Again, heck of a shot!
